Refund Policy

We want you to have a great experience with TourKita PH. This Refund Policy explains our cancellation and refund procedures to help you understand what to expect.

1. Standard Cancellation Policy

Note: Some tours may have specific cancellation policies. Please check the tour details before booking.

2. How to Cancel

To cancel your booking:

  1. Log in to your TourKita PH account
  2. Go to "My Bookings"
  3. Select the booking you wish to cancel
  4. Click "Cancel Booking" and confirm

3. Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method:

  • GCash: 1-2 business days
  • Bank Transfer: 5-7 business days
  • Credit/Debit Card: 5-10 business days (depending on your bank)

4. Operator-Initiated Cancellations

If a tour operator cancels your booking (due to weather, safety concerns, or operational reasons):

  • You will receive a full refund (100%)
  • We will offer alternative dates or tours when available
  • Refund will be processed within 3-5 business days

5. No-Shows

If you do not show up for your booked tour without prior cancellation:

  • No refund will be provided
  • The booking will be marked as "No Show"

Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.

6. Partial Refunds

In certain circumstances, partial refunds may be considered:

  • Tour significantly different from description
  • Major itinerary changes without prior notice
  • Safety issues during the tour
  • Medical emergencies (with documentation)

Contact our support team within 48 hours of the tour date to file a claim.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Processing and transaction fees
  • Special promotions marked as non-refundable
  • Add-on services already rendered
  • Tours marked with "No Cancellation" policy

8. Weather Policy

For weather-affected tours:

  • If cancelled by operator due to unsafe conditions: Full refund or reschedule
  • If tour proceeds with minor weather: No refund (rain gear provided when applicable)
  • Guest-initiated cancellation due to weather forecast: Standard policy applies

9. Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision:

  1. Contact our support team with your booking reference
  2. Provide any supporting documentation
  3. We will review your case within 5 business days
  4. Final decisions will be communicated via email
